When we read scripture, our natural tendency is to relate to the hero in the passage.  Whoever is living boldly and faithfully for God, that’s where we tend to see ourselves… because the alternative is much harder.  The problem, however, is that we are much more like those struggling to walk with God than we care to admit.  Yet through their stories – their victories and their struggles – we can learn more about our own walks and our own struggles.  Today as we turn to Genesis 19, let’s turn our attention inward and see what God might have to say about our hearts.
